Are Your Drivers Self- Certified?
All drivers with a Commercial Drivers License (CDL) face a January 30, 2014 self-certification deadline.
The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) is requiring drivers with a CDL to provide operating information and verify the expiration date of their Medical Examiner’s Certificate. This information must be given to the driver’s State Driver Licensing Agency (SDLA) prior to the deadline or the driver will face suspension or revocation of his CDL operating privileges.
