For the past several years, JKJ has been growing it’s intern program with Colleges and Universities in different parts of the country.  This year we welcome five interns with a variety of educational backgrounds with the majority coming to us from Risk Management and Insurance programs from Temple University and St. Joseph’s University in Philadelphia.

On Monday, June 5, 2017, a team of JKJ golfers will be playing in the Golf Fore Kids’ Sake Golf Tournament benefiting Big Brothers Big Sisters of Bucks County, PA. This event provides golfers a chance to help the children of the community while enjoying a challenging round of golf.

OSHA Regulation Review: Final Rule on Walking-Working Surfaces and Personal Fall Protection System

Overview: Falls from heights and on the same level (a working surface) are among the leading causes of serious work-related injuries and deaths. OSHA has issued a final rule on Walking-Working Services and Personal Fall Protection Systems to better protect workers in general industry from these hazards by updating and clarifying standards and adding training and inspection requirements. The rule incorporates advances in technology, industry best practices, and national consensus standards to provide effective and cost-efficient worker protection. Specifically, it updates general industry standards addressing slip, trip, and fall hazards (subpart D), and adds requirements for personal fall protection systems (subpart I).

Violence in the Workplace

Places of worship, schools and businesses are more and more being targeted by violent intruders resulting in the loss of life and organizational devastation.
