Johnson, Kendall & Johnson Benefits, Inc. Announces Partnership with GoHealth

Johnson, Kendall & Johnson Benefits (JKJB) announces their partnership with GoHealth to offer an online Individual Health Insurance Marketplace. The Affordable Care Act (ACA) has created new opportunities for employers, organizations, and other groups to connect the people who need coverage with affordable and cost-effective options.

Through the GoHealth/JKJB Health Insurance Marketplace, individuals will have online access to all of the information they will need to find health insurance coverage and enroll in a plan that meets their individual or family needs. Licensed agents will be available to individuals by phone to answer questions, find out if about government subsidy eligibility and provide the necessary assistance with comparing, shopping for and enrolling in available health insurance plans.

Consumers are already shopping on the GoHealth/JKJB Health Insurance Marketplace for the national open enrollment period which runs from November 15, 2014 to February 15, 2015, but the marketplace will also be available as a resource throughout the year to help individuals shop and enroll in plans during the special election period. To access the GoHealth/JKJB Health Insurance Marketplace, individuals can visit online or call (855) 654-9156.

“A key provision of the Affordable Care Act (ACA) is the individual mandate, which requires most individuals to purchase health insurance coverage or pay a penalty,” said Julie Bartl, JKJ Benefits, Inc. President. “Our partnership with GoHealth allows us to respond to this mandate through engaging consumers by offering choices and empowering them to make informed as well as cost conscious decisions about their healthcare.”
