John joined JKJ in 1978. In 1984 he was promoted to Sales Manager for the Commercial Lines group and in 1989 became Senior Vice President of Commercial Lines. 1993 marked his promotion to a Principal in the JKJ family.
He graduated with a BA in Economics and a specialty in Accounting from Gettysburg College. In 1991 he attended the Advanced Management Program at the Fuqua Business School, Duke University, and in 2000 received the Certified Insurance Counselor designation.
John has served on many regional advisory councils for insurance companies and has chaired the National Advisory Board for Atlantic Mutual Insurance Companies. He has served on the Philadelphia CPCU Board of Directors in a variety of functions and is on the speakers program for the Philadelphia Insurance Society for their educational programs.
John has also served as a lead consultant for Fortune 500 Corporations, international companies, and for feasibility studies for alternative market/self insurance programs. He has implemented group and association programs for alternative funding mechanisms and traditional concepts.
